CAOHC Course Description
This course meets the requirements of the Council for Accreditation in Occupation Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Upon successful completion of the course participants are eligible for certification through CAOHC.
Class is from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Recertification is required every 5 years.
Cancellations and Transfers: Confirmed registrants who cancel during the two-week period prior to the first day of the course are subject to forfeiting the entire fee. Confirmed registrations who transfer to another scheduled class location within 10 days of the start of the course are subject to a service charge.
Our CAOHC approved Course Directors are credentialed or licensed in audiology, industrial hygiene, occupational health nursing, otolaryngology, occupational medicine, noise-control engineering or safety, and have demonstrated expertise in hearing loss prevention. They utilize a variety of disciplines and tools to provide a complete and positive learning experience.
Virtual Taught Courses: If there is an asterisks (*) next to the course date this means the course instructor is teaching remotely. Attendees must be present at the course location. Experienced staff will be available on site to assist with practicum and other hands on work.
